2010 Summer Camp Registration

Session I:  June 7th – June 17th

Session II:  June 21st – July 1st

Again this year, Epworth Preschool will offer two 2-week sessions of summer camp.  Each session will run for two weeks, Monday though Thursday.  Camp hours will be 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Each child will need to bring a bag lunch and a change of clothes each day.  If additional items are needed (swimsuits, towels, etc.), parents will be notified by the individual camp teachers.  Parents can expect children to have a busy, fun-filled time at camp with hands-on learning activities.  The cost for each session is $220 per child.

Both sessions are open to younger 3’s through 5-year-olds.  To be eligible for our younger classes, your child must turn 3 by June 1, 2010 or have been in a 2-year-old class at Epworth Preschool during the current school year.  All children must be toilet trained in order to attend Summer Camp.

Epworth Preschool

Established in 1958, Epworth Preschool’s goal is to foster the cognitive, emotional, and social development of the child in a developmentally appropriate way.  To achieve this goal, we provide a warm, accepting, and stimulating environment.    There are opportunities for children to express themselves verbally, musically, artistically, emotionally and physically.

Our classrooms are each self contained and our low teacher-student rations provide the opportunity for teachers and the children to develop a warm, strong relationship.  Our day is structured with a balance of teacher and child-initiated activities.  This balance allows children to gain a sense of security from the regular routines in their daily schedule while exploring their environment through free-choice activities.
